The Program Manager will be based in Flex Guadalajara North and will report to the Program Management Manager.
In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver customer-focused products and services while driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and business performance. You will be responsible for managing complex programs, aligning stakeholders across functions, influencing decision-making at multiple organizational levels, and ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with demonstrated experience navigating complex operational environments, driving accountability across organizations, managing executive-level communications, and balancing customer, operational, and financial objectives.
What a typical day looks like:
- Lead cross-functional teams across Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance, Procurement, Logistics, and Planning to achieve program objectives.
- Organize, plan, and direct program schedules, milestones, budgets, and strategic priorities.
- Drive program execution through effective risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder alignment.
- Track key operational, financial, and customer metrics and lead corrective actions to achieve business goals.
- Own customer relationships and serve as the primary escalation point for program-related matters.
- Lead customer business reviews, executive updates, and strategic discussions.
- Communicate program performance, risks, mitigation plans, and recommendations to senior leadership, including Directors and Vice Presidents.
- Coordinate all interdepartmental activities to ensure commitments related to quality, delivery, cost, and customer satisfaction are achieved.
- Support commercial activities including quotations, pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and business growth initiatives.
- Drive accountability across organizations and influence decision-making without direct authority.
- Lead recovery plans and complex operational escalations while maintaining customer confidence and alignment.
- Manage product lifecycle activities, ensuring alignment between operational performance, financial objectives, and customer expectations.
- Monitor program deliverables and ensure successful execution of customer commitments.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, profitability, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
- Maintain and expand business opportunities with existing and new customers.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing or operations environment.
- Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Executive communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and senior leaders, including Directors and Vice Presidents.
- Strong business and financial acumen, including understanding of cost drivers, pricing, profitability, and P&L concepts.
- Experience managing customer relationships, business reviews, and operational escalations.
- Ability to analyze complex business situations, make data-driven decisions, and drive execution.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Knowledge of product lifecycle management, operations, supply chain, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering results in a dynamic environment.
- Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) or high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Exposure to financial planning, quoting, pricing, or business case development.
- Experience working with global customers and international cross-functional teams.
- Certification in Program Management, Project Management, Lean, Six Sigma, or related disciplines.
