Job Summary

Job summary:

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Product Engineer located in Juarez South.

The Product Engineer role involves Responsible for receiving, evaluating, cleaning, and customizing all technical information / documentation from the customer related to their product, derived from a New Product Introduction (NPI) or a design change to establish all necessary processes to manufacture it by maintaining its design and performance integrity. 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Prepare production plans. Monitor and track the production plan.
  • Material bill creation.
  • Material bill analysis.
  • System configurations.
  • Team leadership (technicians and engineers).
  • Handle product transfer and new product set up. 
  • Support production by assessing product engineering issues of diverse scope that arise on production line. 
  • Suggest improvements to process to obtain improved quality and production yield. 
  • Solve product related problems and perform failure evaluation related to product issues. 
  • Interact with customers and various departments on product related issues 
  • Work with design team to resolve design related issues. 
  • Suggest modification to work instructions, material, or product changes to ensure excellent quality of products. 

. The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Engineering or Bachelor's degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Advanced English.
  • Experience in interpreting and handling Bills of Materials.
  • Knowledge of the electronics industry.
  • Diagram interpretation.
  • Knowledge of engineering change management.
  • Experience implementing New Product Introductions (NPIs).
  • Experience with Fabricated Ancillary Instruments (FAIs).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
