Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Planner Scheduler located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

Reporting to Materials Planning Manager, Planner Scheduler this role involves overseeing directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality and cost goals.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage appropriate staffing and inventory levels.
  • Oversee the assembly operations to meet corporate KOI.
  • Supervise production staff on work method and quality checkpoints.
  • Coordinate with other departments and other Flex sites to drive for excellence.
  • Coordinate efforts of operations team by establishing procurement, production and engineering services policies and practices.
  • Ensure ISO and safety standards are adhered to.
  • Report to Senior Management team in weekly operations reviews.
  • Coach and mentor Operations team.
  • Leverage industry practices and apply to internal systems and processes.
  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
  • Provide support to supply chain to integrate parts derived from the vertical integration or localization effort 
  • Provide product training to the manufacturing/process engineers for better understanding of the product. 

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
  • Generate Shortage Reports.
  • Review shortage reports with buyers and present a summary to the customer in English (CTB - Clear to Build Report).
  • Experience in NPI and product transfers.
  • Demand analysis and loading.
  • Analyze, request, and document approvals for MOQ and PPV excesses, as well as PFAs (expediting fees).
  • Control and maintain the Do Not Buy list.
  • Analyze and implement Engineering Changes.
  • Attend and actively participate in Cross-Functional Team (CFT) meetings.
  • Generate Excess and Obsolete (E&O) reports and follow up on action plans.
  • Update Production Plans and Capacity Projections.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
