Responsible for CP global developing, directing and coordinating sites' material planning activities. Enhance customer service levels possible by balancing supply and demand.

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs the sites planning teams in the use of best practices in the daily execution of finished goods and WIP planning
• Manages, coaches and mentors site planning team. Works with the site planning team on continuous development and performance management.
• Directs activities of site planning team to ensure that inventory level and turn goals are achieved, including reduction of back orders and enhancing customer service.
• Meets with Sales Operation Management to obtain strategic information that could impact the forecast. Works with planning team to modify the forecast for historical and environmental events. Works closely with different departments to accurately develop and maintain an accurate forecast.
• Hold cross-functional meetings to review the Supply and Demand plan
• Review issues and make recommendations that deal with long-term constraints, customer service levels, inventory targets, the current forecast, and backlog.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in planning or related area.
• Demonstrates advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
• Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of interdependencies of such processes at the site.
• Accountability for the program wellness.
• Demonstrates expert knowledge of the function and a thorough understanding of ODM Power Industrial and related business.
• Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from external and internal customers. Ability to effectively present information to management, and to the customer.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have advanced skills in the use of Microsoft Project, Word, PowerPoint and Excel software.
• Must be willing to travel to customer sites and to other Flex sites when required.
