Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Industrial Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
What a typical day looks like:
- Leads Industrial Engineering and Facilities-related projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinates project activities including cost estimation, budget planning, quotation development, contractor management, and project follow-up.
- Develops and maintains labor standards, capacity models, workforce planning, and operational metrics to support production requirements.
- Conducts time studies, work measurement analysis, and manufacturing process simulations.
- Supports NPI activities by defining labor requirements, takt time, cycle time, and production line setup.
- Reviews prototype builds and pilot runs, providing feedback and recommendations to NPI, Operations, and cross-functional teams.
- Analyzes workforce utilization, facility layouts, workflow efficiency, and operational data to identify opportunities for productivity improvement and cost reduction.
- Coordinates workspace modifications, equipment relocations, facility upgrades, and civil works projects to support business growth.
- Leads cross-functional initiatives, drives project action items, consolidates progress updates, and ensures successful execution through completion.
- Provides technical guidance and coordination to engineers, technicians, and support personnel involved in project execution.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary projects and coordinating contractors, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience in facility layout design, space planning, and manufacturing support projects.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Project is preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced English communication skills.
- Previous experience supporting NPI manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Proven ability to drive action plans, manage priorities, and successfully follow projects through completion.
