Job Summary:

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Global Sustainability Value located in Guadalajara, North Campus.

We are looking for a professional for the Global Sustainability Value position who will support sustainability initiatives through data analysis, environmental modeling, and energy-related projects. This position will work closely with the Sustainability, Facilities, and Operations teams to identify opportunities for improving environmental performance and develop strategies focused on energy optimization and emissions reduction within manufacturing operations.

This is an excellent opportunity for professionals in the early stages of their careers who enjoy working with data, mathematical models, and sustainability initiatives in a global environment. 

What a typical day looks like:

  • Develop mathematical models, forecasts, projections, and calculations related to environmental and sustainability indicators.
  • Analyze energy, water, waste, and emissions consumption data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support the development of energy optimization and emissions reduction strategies.
  • Collaborate with Facilities, Operations, and Sustainability teams in the collection, validation, and analysis of information.
  • Track and report key sustainability metrics and indicators (KPIs).
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Participate in global meetings and collaborate with international teams in English.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to environmental performance and resource efficiency.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, mathematical calculations, forecasting, projections, or modeling.
  • Advanced English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Interest in sustainability, energy management, environmental performance, and emissions reduction.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, continuous improvement, etc., as a plus.
  • Knowledge related to environmental indicators, energy, sustainability, or resource consumption.
