Job Summary

Global Sustainability Customer Enablement Manager – 1 year Fixed-term

Through the collective strength of a global workforce across 30 countries and responsible, sustainable operations, Flex delivers technology innovation, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions to diverse industries and end markets.

In Hungary, Flex operates across 7 locations (Budapest, Gyál, Üllő, Nyíregyháza, Sárvár, Tab, Zalaegerszeg), employing approximately 7,000 people.

We are seeking a Global Sustainability Customer Enablement Manager (fixed-term maternity cover) to join our global sustainability organization. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Sustainability & Foundation Officer, this role ensures business continuity and high-quality execution of sustainability related customer requests.

This is a key position focused on operational excellence, audit readiness, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring customer requests are handled consistently, on time, and with full traceability.

What a typical day looks like

  • Own and coordinate end-to-end execution of sustainability-related customer requests
  • Manage workflows across intake, classification, response, and closure, ensuring SLA adherence
  • Maintain full visibility of requests through central trackers (status, ownership, dependencies, closure)
  • Ensure audit-ready documentation and evidence for all requests and responses
  • Execute and support PCF / LCA customer requests, ensuring consistency and traceability
  • Maintain and improve the evidence library with reusable, validated content
  • Ensure continuity and smooth handovers across ongoing and critical requests
  • Identify recurring patterns and drive standardization/systemization opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sustainability, Data & Systems, Compliance, Finance, and Operations teams
  • Provide proactive stakeholder communication and escalate risks when needed

The experience we're looking to add to our team

  • Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • 5–8+ years of experience in sustainability, ESG, customer enablement, compliance, or project management
  • Experience handling customer negotiations, requests, questionnaires, or audit-related activities
  • Exposure to PCF, LCA, carbon topics, or manufacturing environments is a strong advantage
  • Strong ability to operate in global, cross-functional environments
  • Excellent organizational and execution discipline
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
