Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an [General Demand & Planning Manager] located in [Jiading, Shanghai]. Reports to Director of Sales Operation and Planning.

The General Demand & Planning Manager manages Power Module sales demand forecasting and Sales Operation Planning, contribute to support designing and executing the end-to-end supply chain strategies to achieve optimal balance between customer value creation and operational efficiency, supporting global business growth in highly volatile markets.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Demand Management
    • Demand Planning and Accuracy:
      • Global Demand Planning, including demand forecasting management and demand allocation.
      • Own the 12-months rolling demand consensus process across Sales, Key Accounts, and regional teams, implementing standardized templates and data validation protocols.
      • Conduct gap analysis between sell-in forecasts and sell-out performance to identify systemic biases.
    • Demand-Supply Risk Mitigation:
      • Establish early-warning triggers for big demand deviation, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
      • Deliver executable recommendations to align supply chain capabilities (capacity, network design) with demand scenarios.
      • Develop phase-gated demand management for NPI, maturity, and EOL stages, integrating PLC into S&OP decision-making.
  • S&OP Excellence & Global Capability Orchestration
    • Global capacity planning, allocation, incl. balancing site loading and customer priorities
    • Maintain Power Module S&OP process, from Demand Review, Supply Review, to Executive Reconciliation, ensuring cross-functional accountability, especially for the new sites.
    • Responsible for capacity and material allocation, inventory targets, and priority decisions (cost vs. service level or business targets etc).
    • Multi-site optimization, develop business-led allocation logic balancing capabilities among the sites (material supply, capacity, cost, lead time) with customer demand priorities.
    • Define segment-specific inventory targets for Power Module, monitor inventory trend, drive FPM KPI for LvC, ITO, E&O, IOH and optimization.
    • Define product supply lead time targets, monitor actual supply LT trend, drive the optimization of LT accuracy and supply LT reduction.
    • Partner with site SCM, Procurement, Sourcing to optimize planning and procurement parameters, to increase supply flexibility for high-mix environments.
  • Overall responsibility to the processes within General Demand Planning Management.
  • Lead and coordinate work in the function according to department requirements and guidelines.
  • Continuously improve and develop processes which related to FPM forecast, Sales & Operation planning, and Inventory management.
  • Other tasks assigned by Director of Sales Operation and Planning.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Education: BS/MS in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, International Business or related technical fields.
  • Experience: 7+ years in demand/supply planning roles within industrial electronics, semiconductor, or related sectors. Global S&OP leadership experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Advanced proficiency in SAP, Kinaxis Rapid Response.
    • Experience in predictive analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) and statistical forecasting methods would be a plus.
  • Leadership Competencies:
    • Strategic Agility: Translate market dynamics into executable supply chain activities.
    • Influence without Authority: Navigate matrixed organizations to align with cross-functional stakeholders.
    • Customer-Centric Mindset: Balance operational excellence with customer experiences
  • Excellent oral and written English skills.
  • Excellent Communication and negotiation skills.
