To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Failure Analysis Engineer located in Guadalajara Norte.

Reporting to the Test Engineer, the Failure Analysis Engineer's role involves:

What a typical day looks like:

• Directs and/or coordinates electronic engineering and/or technical personnel in design of methos of failure analysis, testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
• Direct and coordinate the strategies of debugging the failure product of the test process.
• Determines conditions and procedures under which the technicians are to be conducted and Indicators and phases of Debug Process.
• Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing and troubleshooting problems such as failures of product or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, Failure Analysis Reports, new solutions, obsolete components data interpretation or coding issues.
• Analyzes and interprets Failures data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
• Review unknown failures with customers to investigate the root cause of the failure.
• Attendance meetings with local and national costumers.
• Creation of Failure analysis reports for internal and external issues about components, processes and electronic boards.
• Experience in electronic industry

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Advanced English
• Bachelor's Degree
• Develops instrument drivers.
• Develops and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
• Performs failure analysis on environmental test failures.
• Supports improvements to functional test hardware.
• Basic knowledge in switching power supplies.
• Basic knowledge in Linux Systems and basic knowledge in embedded systems (desirable).
