Job Summary

We are looking for a Facility Manager to join our Facilities Organization in Timisoara. Reporting to the Director Facilities, the Facility Manager role involves the responsibility for managing, coordinating, and overseeing various functions of the Facilities organization for the manufacturing site in Romania.

What a typical day looks like:

  • You will be responsible for the building regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate with EHS pear per business needs, seeking 100% compliance.
  • Coordinate with his pears from Site Management to execute the business strategy.
  • Manage contracts and supervise the activity of contractors and consultants in his area of responsibility.
  • ​Act as liaison to public utilities companies, energy agencies and other local and central governmental agencies.
  • Periodically inspect the plant and evaluate the use of space and facilities, making recommendations.
  • Responsible to provide local guidance and to execute according to CREF policies, procedures and standards.
  • Responsible for the housekeeping and maintenance of the facility (including office, manufacturing, warehouse, truck yards, parking, and landscaped areas) and maintenance of all building equipments.
  • Responsible for arrangement, alteration and relayout of office, manufacturing, warehouse, truck yards, parking, and landscaped areas, as required by business.
  • Coordinate, manage and direct the design, planning, construction and alteration of building and building structures, equipment, machinery and other facilities infrastructures.
  • Plan, budget and schedule various facilities modifications, including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts and contracts for required constructions and alterations.
  • Plan, budget and schedule maintenance over the lifecycle of all buildings and facility assets.
  • Identify and manage implementation of improvement projects, energy saving projects, cost reduction and cost avoidance projects.
  • Responsible for tracking performance over the lifetime of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, lighting and all other facility equipment.
  • Plan, budget and manage the investments related to the facility assets over their lifecycle.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • 8 years of experience in Facilities Engineering or any related field.
  • 5 years of experience in managerial level position.
  • ​Experience in leading Facility and services in a manufacturing environment with a population not less than 500 employees.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a technical field (Electrical, Mechanical, Architect or Construction Engineering).
  • ​Negotiation level of English and fluency in Romanian.
  • Strong analytical & decision making skills.
  • Excellent people and process management skills.
