Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Business Excellence Manager located in North Campus.
Reporting to the VP, Operations the Business Excellence Manager's role involves:
What a typical day looks like:
- Work as a change agent and drive lean and six sigma activities as defined in the GBE A3.
- Applying and deploying Flex Lean Enterprise Values across the entire organization.
- In charge of eliminating waste and creating value by reducing variation in the processes to achieve sustainable results throughout the organization and segment.
- Utilize Continuous Improvement (Kaizen) techniques, initiate process improvements, cycle time reductions, cost reductions and other activities aimed at reducing/eliminating non-value-added activities in the process.
- Drive and yokoten the identified Best practices based on the accord timelines.
- Create and validate processes/standards based on standard work and BPs.
- Conduct Industrial Engineering, lean and six sigma training and accelerate the proliferation of Lean Continuous Improvement culture through out the organization by co-guiding and co-facilitating Lean Deployment.
- Perform assessment of CIMT Operation/Supply chain/Office and drive initiatives to close gaps.
- Diligentlly participate in the selection and executions of lean and six sigma projects.
- For assigned special project/segment/customer priorities to formulate and propose strategy of Lean
- Transformation. Coach and facilitate Lean Transformation activities through Kaizen workshops and Small Group Activities.
- Incentivate a participation and tranning of Flex Employees, Suppliers and Customers.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Lean and/or Six Sigma Black Belt preferred
• Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses
• Ability to think strategically, define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
• Impacts the long-term (annual) direction and financial or operational success of the function and/or site.
• Approves and/or creates functional processes or technologies.
• Establishes and ensures effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site.
• May have P&L responsibility for the function.
• Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives.
