Job Summary:

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we're calling SpinCo, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.

Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor role involves directing manufacturing operations carried out on a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they meet volume, quality, and cost objectives.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Support the design, analysis, and optimization of production processes.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation: process sheets, work instructions, flow diagrams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on reducing costs, cycle times, and waste.
  • Collaborate in the implementation of production control systems and performance metrics.
  • Provide support in plant layout distribution and production line balancing.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with Quality, Engineering, and Production departments to resolve technical issues.
  • Contribute to internal and external audits related to industrial processes.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Industrial Engineering or related degree completed.
  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial processes, or continuous improvement (internships or work experience).
  • Knowledge of time and motion study methods.
  • Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (advanced Excel, Minitab preferred).
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
