Job Summary:

The “Asset Management Specialist” will be based in Milpitas, California reporting to Equipment Engineering Manager.

The Asset Management Specialist is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of company assets, from acquisition and retirement.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Responsible for tracking and maintaining $10M in assets including equipment, tools, hardware and software.

  • Supports asset audits and compliance requirements while also supporting capital planning and asset replacement strategies.

  • Drive Continuous Improvement of Utilization on key equipment areas(SMT, ICT AXI) 

  • Validate the exact capacity requirements based on business plans as part of Capex process 

  • Ensure capacity is right sized to meet the future business and technology requirements.  

  • Develop and support strategy to meet alternative capacity solutions for short burst needs (Rental , Oursource etc) 

  • Cooordinate, support and identify asset redeployment opportunities across Flex Operations. 

  • Work with internal and third parties to ensure inbound equipment delivery lead times and schedules are maintained on key projects.   

  • Develop plans with Site and Segment operations to improve productivity and utilization   

The experience we're looking to add to our team,

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience required, Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years of industry work experience from manufacturing companies (automotive, electronics or medical device, or similar).

  • Must be able to guide direct projects based on business initiatives and customer needs.

  • Demonstrate detailed expertise situations and multiple areas.

  • Comprehends the strategic impact of the function across sites.

  • Detail oriented and comfortable with Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel.

The base pay range for this position is provided below. The final base rate offered will be determined using job-related, non-discriminatory criteria, including but not limited to experience, qualifications, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity.
