We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Operations Supervisor to support daily transportation operations. This role ensures drivers are equipped for their routes, coordinates field trips, assists with route planning, and supports safety and compliance initiatives. The Operations Supervisor also helps with training sessions, disciplinary meetings, and may occasionally interact with school officials or drive a bus as needed. Additional responsibilities include reviewing time sheets, assisting dispatch, and potentially managing smaller locations under the guidance of the Location Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Daily Operations: Ensure drivers have necessary paperwork, coordinate field trips, assist with route planning, and oversee fueling and maintenance schedules.

  • Promote Safety and Compliance: Monitor safety practices, enforce corrective actions, and ensure routes meet state, local, and vendor requirements.

  • Team Support and Supervision: Assist in training sessions, disciplinary meetings, and support dispatch operations as needed.

  • Administrative Duties: Review and approve driver time sheets prior to payroll submission.

  • Leadership and Flexibility: May manage small locations, interact with school officials, and drive a bus when necessary, under the Location Manager's direction.


Minimum Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in transportation industry.

  • Good supervisory skills.

  • Excellent communication and organization skills.

  • Good Interpersonal skills

  • Computer skills

  • Subject to DOT drug testing and physical. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.

Salary Range: $45,000 - $52,000
