Driver Compliance Coordinator – $19.00/hr

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about safety and compliance? Join First Student, North America's leading school transportation provider, where you'll play a key role in maintaining compliance and supporting safe environments for our drivers, monitors, and technicians.

What You'll Do (Major Responsibilities):
  • Maintain a high degree of confidentiality and promote safe, collaborative environments.

  • Upload and maintain compliance data for assigned locations.

  • Review all documents for accuracy before entering into the compliance system. Communicate document issues to the location and provide support to resolve.

  • Train location staff on compliance programs, processes, and document requirements.

  • Troubleshoot challenges with the compliance program platform and escalate to Driver Compliance Supervisor as necessary.

  • Support on-site location activities as assigned.

  • Perform other responsibilities as required.

What You'll Need (Qualifications):

Education/Certifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Experience/Skills:

  • 3 years of business or operations experience (transportation preferred)

  • Solid understanding of Driver Compliance Programs

  • Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Provincial requirements for Commercial Drivers

  • Proficiency with Microsoft® PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel

  • Proven leadership and coaching ability with staff

  • Excellent interpersonal and social skills

  • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team structure
