Under direct supervision, the Compensation & Retirement Coordinator is responsible for assisting with day-to-day administration and functions within the Compensation and Retirement teams.

Major Responsibilities

  • Support the Retirement team with various daily assigned tasks such as: running delivered reports in both Workday payroll and the retirement recordkeeping system(s); completing general system entry and performing regular plan audits
  • Performing basic calculations and documenting contributions to external recordkeepers.
  • Monitoring, researching, and responding to employee inquiries via phone and email; receiving, researching and preparing documentation for death claims; referring participants to 3rd party vendors for QDRO claims.
  • Preparing mailings related to blackouts, participant loan delinquencies or other written communications.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions through phone or email
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience or Skills Required

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years in an administrative support role
  • Experience in a compensation, benefits and/or payroll environment a plus.
  • Self-motivated individual with great initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to interact with a host of different personalities.
  • Highly organized, detail orientated and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Ability to take ownership and be accountable for issue resolution and general customer satisfaction.
