The Job:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for understanding the travel & expense policy, ensuring all travel and expense processes are cost-effective and run accurately and timely. Analyzing and resolving system issues.

The position will require some process expertise related to International Travel and Entertainment, including knowledge of Mexico's requirements.

What you will be doing:

  • Management of travel and expense systems
  • Expense report audit and processing - compliance with Corp T&E Policy. Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
  • Ensures complete, accurate, and timely documentation of posting activity in the accounting system.
  • Enforcement of policy
  • Support travelers with expense report submissions and corporate card usage
  • Responsible for Internal communication regarding travel

What you will likely bring:

  • 2+ years of applicable experience and demonstrated success/knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Detail-oriented and deadline driven with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and research skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all written and verbal organizational levels in English.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes, and procedures. 
  • Experience managing corporate travel and expense programs.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Solid analytical skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
