The Senior Data Services Specialist is responsible for facilitating the integration of pipeline information into a geo-spatial database format, the processing of maintenance and regulatory requests, and the provision of data services to meet the business requirements of Enterprise Products.  Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Data process management.
  • Steward the data in the central database.
  • Adhere to the work processes, specifications, procedures, and applications used to manage pipeline data.
  • Apply documented quality assurance and quality control processes to assigned tasks.
  • Research, analyze, and process ad-hoc requests for data changes.
  • Research information, present and historic, for company assets.
  • Provide technical support for data transfers related to asset acquisitions.
  • Evaluate and compile reference material in support of outsourced projects.
  • Interface with project engineering, regulatory compliance, and field operations to provide technical support.
  • Maintain up-to-date project tracking information in a work management system.



The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications: 
  • Covid vaccine required
  • An understanding of pipeline industry documents (particularly alignment sheets) within the pipeline mapping discipline.
  • Understanding of forms based data entry software.
  • Operational knowledge of AutoCAD software.
  • Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Operational knowledge of ArcGIS Software.
  • Operational knowledge of Google Earth.
  • A general understanding of relational database concepts of SQL Server.
  • A general understanding of pipeline database structure.
  • A general understanding of data products and services and how they are delivered to customers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, communicates effectively (particularly by means of the telephone.
