Job Summary:
Contributes to the success of Surgical Procedures by supporting Peri-Op and Procedural areas by: ordering supplies, implants, equipment and  stocking supplies.  Checks expirations dates.  Reviews the OR schedule in EPIC to notate supplies/implants for cases.  Create requisitions for bill and replacement as well as bill only purchase order.   Additional duties assigned by my Supervisor/Manager.

Job Essentials: Strong critical thinking skills, an extremely fast learner and also works well with others, a team player. Knowledge of Infor Lawson & Epic is a plus.
Good at time management and a great at solving problems.

Education Requirements:

  • Associates Degree with 1-2 years specific OR Procedure/OR Supply experience or
  • High School Diploma with 3-5 years specific OR Procedure/ OR Supply experience.

Working conditions: 

  • Frequent standing or walking to different procedural areas. Occasional light to medium physical effort; carry up to 25 lbs. required.
  • Regular exposure to injury from needles and syringes, sharp instruments and burns from heat generating equipment.
  • May be exposed to contaminated and soiled materials.

Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
