Job Summary:
Contributes to the success of Surgical Procedures by reviewing the OR schedule in Epic to notate supplies/implants for cases. Support Peri-op and procedural areas by: ordering supplies, implants and equipment. Can stock. Check expiration dates. Create requisitions for bill and replacement as well as bill only purchase order.

Additional duties assigned by Supervisor/Manager. 

Working conditions:

  • Frequent standing or walking to different procedural areas. Occasional light to medium physical effort: carry up to 25 lbs required. 
  • Regular exposure to injury from needles and syringes, sharp instruments and heat from generating equipment.
  • May be exposed to contaminated and soiled materials.

Job Essentials:

  • A minimum of 3 years of materials management experience in a healthcare setting required. Cath lab supplies preferred.
  • Prior experience placing orders for OR procedure supplies, scanning, receiving, and shelving supplies.
  • Strong communication skills for interfacing with physicians and their offices in preparation for procedures.

Education Requirements:

  • Associates Degree with 1-2 years specific OR Procedure/OR Supply experience or
  • High School Diploma with 3-5 years specific OR Procedure/ OR Supply experience.

 

Englewood Health provides a minimum rate to comply with New Jersey Law. The rate of pay for each position will be determined based on a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications, skills, etc. The minimum rate does not include bonuses/incentives, differential pay or other forms of compensation. In addition to the minimum rate, eligible employees may receive comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other wellness resources.
