HVA Medical Group has multiple opportunities for Medical Assistants/Medical Receptionists (MA/MR) in various practices throughout Bergen, Passaic, and Morris Counties, including full-time and part-time.  Ideal candidates are responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the medical staff. The duties of the Medical Assistant vary from office to office based on size and specialty of the practice. Performs various front office and back office patient care duties. More specifically, this position will assist with flow of patients from the waiting area to exam rooms and perform preparatory work on patients to ensure efficient use of the physician's time. Shift: 8 Hours

Hours: 8am-6pm variable


Job Essentials:  

  • MA/MR experience preferred 
  • Excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task and work well with others required
  • Spanish speaking a plus 

Education Requirements

  • HS Diploma or GED required 
  • Graduate of an accredited MA program required 


Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Patient Care Technician (CPCT) required

Basic Life Support (BLS) required
