Description

The Employee Health Coordinator is a Nurse who assists the Employee Health Department by providing support to employees, contract employees and non-employee groups.  The EH Coordinator will utilize established protocols and current standards of care to meet the health care needs of the employee population.



Basic Qualifications

  • Licensed Vocational/Professional Nurse licensure
  • 1+ year acute care nursing
  • 1+ year experience in Employee Health or Medical Office setting preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), required
  • Position requires fluency in English, written and oral communication


Essential Job Functions

  • Completes Employee Health duties per organization policy and department protocols
  • Performs new hire assessment and immunization review
  • Order, review and follow up of new hire labs
  • Maintains ReadySet Employee Health software system to support complete and accurate employee health records
  • Monitors employee work-related illness and injuries
  • Perform communicable disease exposure follow up
  • Performs bloodborne pathogen exposure assessment, treatment, and follow-up
  • Participates in preventive screening and surveillance programs (TB testing, influenza, COVID-19, and other appropriate immunizations)
  • Maintains and ensures confidentiality of patient information and medical records
  • Attention to detail, information accuracy and service excellence


Other Job Functions

  • Attend staff meetings or other company meetings as required
  • Ability to work off-hours when required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
