EECU is looking for a Strategic Education Partnerships Lead that will support Business Development, School Partnerships, and Community Events.

The Strategic Education Partnerships Lead, under the direction of the Director, Schools & Community Relations, creates, builds, maintains, and grows effective long-term relationships with key education institutions and community partners to enhance EECU's image, reputation, and brand awareness. This position will primarily support our partnership with Fort Worth Independent School District and the surrounding Fort Worth community. Previous experience in public education administration or campus leadership is required.  

The Strategic Education Partnerships Lead must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with education leaders, including district and school administrators, university leadership, and executive-level decision-makers. This includes:

  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships with key stakeholders across the district and other community organizations.
  • Representing EECU in strategic discussions that align with district goals and community initiatives.
  • Collaborating with senior leaders to identify partnership opportunities that support financial wellness, educational advancement, and community impact.

The Strategic Education Partnerships Lead is responsible for building awareness of EECU's products and services in their assigned partner by generating consistent and positive exposure of EECU through events. They are responsible for all aspects, including creating and securing the opportunity, gathering all necessary team members and materials, pre and post communications with internal and external stakeholders, tracking and measuring the return on marketing investment of the events and sponsorships. 

Key qualifications for the Strategic Education Partnerships Lead:

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills   
  • Must have considerable experience in developing and making presentations to the public  
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrate ability to develop, organize and manage effective events
  • Possesses excellent organizational, analytical, and communications skills   
  • Demonstrate thorough knowledge of credit union products and services   
  • Effective planning, project management and multi-tasking skills   
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills   
  • Skilled in Microsoft office software applications – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint  
  • Critical thinking (logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses)
  • Valid TX driver's license and insurability
  • EECU will, in compliance with applicable law, evaluate an applicant's credit history. Only applicants with good credit history will be considered for open positions. 
  • Must be able to travel up to 75% within the North Texas area to meet clients, attend meetings, and support various field operations

Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:   

· College degree required 

· Previous experience in public education administration or campus leadership

· Able to plan, organize and balance multiple tasks simultaneously

· Able to communicate effectively with people at all organizational levels and make a favorable impression 

· Is confident and comfortable making presentations or interacting with people in social and business settings, representing the credit union in a positive and professional manner

· Able to interact professional with internally and external members from all organizational levels   

· Ability to operate and lead effectively under pressure   

· Must be able to make sound independent decisions   

· Must be able to resolve problems independently   

· Must be self-directed and able to motivate others   

· Able to prioritize tasks and follow-up for successful completion   

· Able to adhere to established deadlines and budgets
