As our Financial Center Quality Assurance Supervisor, you'll lead the charge in ensuring our financial centers operate at peak performance while upholding the highest standards in regulatory compliance and service excellence. This QA Supervisor provides an oversight of our IRA/HSA portfolio— essential to sustaining EECU's commitment to operational excellence and member trust.
Core responsibilities for the Quality Assurance Supervisor:
•Key leadership role critical to the operational integrity, regulatory compliance and service excellence of the retail network. SME, providing oversight of the quality assurance function of the financial centers and the credit union IRA/HSA portfolio.
•Leads a specialized team responsible for ensuring that all financial center reporting, documentation, audit functions and processes meet internal standards and regulatory mandates.
•Responsible for safeguarding the soundness of the credit unions IRA/HSA portfolio by providing support and expertise.
•Oversees auditing by quality assurance team of all Financial Centers for compliance.
•Reviewing new accounts to mitigate risk and errors including reviewing ChexSystems, OFAC, proper verification processes and documentation across all financial centers.
•Mentors, coaches, manages performance management and supervises Operations team.
•Responsible for IRA/HSA tax reporting. Works with IRA RMD owners to ensure that all payments have been disbursed according to IRS rules and regulations.
•Serve as a subject matter expert in retail operations policies and procedures in supporting Financial Centers through video, email, phone calls, and instant messaging.
•Plays a pivotal role in risk mitigation through regular audits, performance assessments, and proactive identification of process gaps. Oversight includes daily QA operations, bulk mail processing, product and loan reviews including IRA/HSAs, and escalation resolution—all designed to uphold the financial and reputational strength of the institution.
•As a certified expert in IRA/HSA compliance, the QA supervisor is also responsible for the integrity and servicing of IRA, HSA, and as a back-up for the Courtesy Overdraft Program (COP) accounts. This includes resolving complex member inquiries and ensuring the accurate, timely processing of all related transactions.
•In partnership with Retail Management and Training, this leader drives continuous improvement through field training, real-time coaching, and operational mentorship, reinforcing a culture of accountability, precision, and excellence across all financial centers.
•The role demands exceptional critical thinking, professional presence, and the ability to influence and lead across multiple teams and functions.
Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg B, Reg Z, Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Service Members Civil Relief, and FCRA/FACTA. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
Candidates for EECU should possess the following knowledge and experience:
- Two to three years of financial experience understanding all aspects of financial platform and operations
- Background in Quality Assurance is encouraged, but not required
- Detail oriented candidate with experience in process improvement, mentoring, and strong compliance adherence
- Strong leadership Skills
- Strong creative skills as well as keen ability to digest and utilize tracking information
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to coach and mentor staff
- Excellent organizational abilities
- College Degree preferred or equivalent with 2-3 years financial experience
