Description

EECU is seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven, Financial Center - Lead HSA/ISD Liaison & Quality Assurance Specialist, to support operational excellence across our financial centers. In this role, you will help ensure deposit and loan products are opened, maintained, reviewed, and documented accurately while supporting compliance with credit union procedures and regulatory requirements.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, coaching others, improving processes, and working collaboratively with branch teams and support departments to create a consistent, accurate, and positive member experience. On-site position. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Conduct daily quality assurance reviews and quarterly onsite branch audits to identify risk, validate accuracy, and support strong operational practices.
  • Review and resolve complex account, transaction, system, digital banking, and documentation issues that may impact members or branch operations.
  • Issue and track system-generated exceptions, partnering with retail teams to ensure timely correction and follow-through.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for IRA and HSA administration, including escalated transactions such as Roth conversions, tax corrections, beneficiary distributions, and reporting accuracy.
  • Support EECU's HSA ISD partner relationships by monitoring support portal requests, troubleshooting escalations, and coordinating resolution with internal teams.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, IT, Marketing, Retail Operations, and branch leadership to resolve issues and improve processes.
  • Coach and mentor QA team members and branch employees by providing guidance on procedures, compliance expectations, and issue resolution.
  • Act as a go-to resource for the QA team in the absence of management, helping prioritize work and support consistent decision-making.


What We're Looking For

  • 1–2 years of financial services, credit union, banking, branch operations, quality assurance, or related experience. 
  • Working knowledge of financial products, account documentation, operational procedures, and member service standards.
  • IRA and HSA administration knowledge required; IRA/HSA certification required or ability to obtain as determined by business need.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to review information accurately, identify trends, and follow through on exceptions or audit findings.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly and professionally.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and support team members while building positive working relationships across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and changing business needs.
  • Comfort using technology, systems, reports, and tracking tools to monitor issues and support accurate resolution.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive internal, member, and partner information.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours or support multiple locations as business needs require.
  • Hours: Monday-Friday between 7:30am and 6pm, Saturdays- hours between 9am-2pm
  • EECU will, in compliance with applicable laws, evaluate an applicant's credit history. Only applicants with good credit history will be considered for open positions. If offered a position with EECU, will have to clear background check including employment, criminal, and drug screen. 


Responsible for compliance of all Federal and State rules and regulations pertaining but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, Bank Bribery Act, NCUA Privacy Regulations, Reg B, Reg Z, Service Members Civil Relief, and FCRA/FACTA. Required to attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.
