Job Details:General Summary:
The Director, myDG+ Partnerships will be responsible for developing and maintaining strategic
third party partnerships and their value benefits offers within the myDG Delivery program. The role will also be responsible for ancillary DG benefits mgmt. while driving holistic incremental member value and program differentiation.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Research and vet prospected third party partners that over-index with the DG customer and fall within the targeted partner verticals for exclusive benefit offers within the program
- Assist with the creation of initial partner facing presentations with go to market and creative teams
- Effectively secure NDA in advance of presenting to targeted companies on myDG Delivery partnership opportunities
- Route aligned partnership agreements for final review and execution with legal
- Integrate and plan partner benefit offerings into the myDG Delivery program, ensuring advertising benefits of both in store and digital media are fully executed
- Set up initial tech integration calls with each partner and cross functional DG teams (IT, product, and agency partners)
- Develop acquisition and retention strategies, actively monitor KPI's, and recommend enhancements to partnership benefits to drive sustained growth
- Provide reporting dashboard / prepare reporting status with each partner
- Define partner off boarding process and procedure
- Partner with the DG IT and Product team to help activate all DG exclusive promotional events within the program
- Effectively plan and activate along side DG digital coupon partner to promote exclusive DG Digital Coupon offers for members within the myDG Delivery program with merchants and vendor community prior to program launch
- Manage other key DG benefits and reporting within program as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of organization
- Identify and manage new partnership growth opportunities for the broader organization and program
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
Work Experience and/or Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Retail Management preferred
- Experience leading cross functional teams and initiatives with a retailer
- 8+ years in retail marketing / retail media, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
