PT Concierge (Senior Living) - Daytime, Rotating Weekends: Saturday & Sunday days (7:30a to 4p), rotating weekends with another Concierge Team Member. This position is perfect for college students, retirees, and anyone who needs flexible weekend hours. PRN hours are available for this position!

The Concierge is responsible for greeting guests, residents, vendors and employees, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages, and providing information of a general nature.

Responsibilities:

  • Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required.
  • Takes messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the recipient.
  • Greets residents, visitors, guests and vendors. Answers inquiries and gives directions.
  • Collates brochures & documents for department Directors.
  • Prepares meal tickets for family members & guests.
  • Takes Room Service orders for meal delivery to or pick-up by Residents.
  • Assists Residents with sign-up for Activities, Outings, Events & Personal Transportation.
  • Updates the Resident Phone List and maintains Resident Emergency Contact information.
  • Manages Reminders for residents' Personal Transportation.
  • Maintains and keeps Front Desk, Main Entrance & Grand Lobby areas neat and organized.
  • Organizes & distributes packages & other deliveries to Residents & staff.
  • Sets up theater and prepares popcorn for regular for Movie Time.
  • Responds to Resident Emergency Pendant pushes or phone calls to initiate 911/EMS.
  • Maintains adherence to all company policies and established operating Policies & Procedures.
  • Assists and supports the Business Office Manager and other Department Directors.
  • Direct Report to the Business Office Manager.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Experience with multi-line phones, computers, copy machine, Keytrak device, and other technology. 
  • 3 years of Customer Service experience (Reception, Hotel, Office) with Senior Living experience highly desirable.
  • Effectively communicates in English. Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) desirable, but not required.
  • Polite, friendly, helpful, articulate, responsible, and dependable!
