As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test with Python (Sr SDET) at CVS Health in our "Analytics & Behavior Change" group, you will be testing components of the Underwriting Platform, a complex software application that serves financial users from our Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) business unit. You will work on testing multiple components of the Eos platform, including the UI, Data Forecast Mart, and Computation Engine applications. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Underwriting Transformation products are delivered on time, on budget, and with the highest quality standards. Your role is vital to ensure that all requirements have been met before changes are put into Production. This has great impact on end users of these applications and the quality of service we provide to our internal customers. *What you will be doing: * * Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test scenarios for multiple software workstreams with different release cycles, including both automation and manual testing * Perform functional, performance and automated testing of various components of the UI and non-UI application platforms * Participate in architecture and design reviews to understand the product complexity, and utilize that knowledge to develop test scenarios * Design and develop robust, scalable, and maintainable automated test scripts, harnesses, and tools using Python * Monitor and analyze test results, and communicate test progress, test coverage, and other metrics to stakeholders. * Continuously enhance test automation processes and methodologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness. *Required Qualifications* * 5+ Years' experience in QA Automation or Software Development experience with python. * 3+ Years' experience building UI/API/Backend test automation frameworks and implementation across large organizations * 2+ years' hands-on experience with Python * 2+ years' experience with SQL queries * 5+ years' experience in QA Or Development methodology and principles, tools, processes, and metrics *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience with insurance and pharmacy benefit management would be a plus * Prior software development experience * Experience with performance testing and load testing tools, such as JMeter or Locust. * Experience with Continuous Integration environments (e.g., Jenkins, Git) * Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as GCP, AWS or Azure. *Education* * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Math, Operation Research, Statists, Health Policy, or other related fields, or Advanced Degree If you are passionate about quality, have a strong technical background in Python, and enjoy working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, then we would love to hear from you.
