A Day in the Life of a System Support Technician
The System Support Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless operation of information systems at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center. Responsibilities include installing and configuring computer systems, providing maintenance for hardware and software, and troubleshooting issues to ensure continuous system functionality. The technician collaborates closely with other departments to align technology solutions with organizational needs, enhancing operational efficiency and staff competency. They are also tasked with maintaining accurate documentation and training materials and providing essential training to staff on new systems and updates. The role requires managing multiple tasks simultaneously, often adjusting priorities in response to the needs of the facility and emergent IT challenges.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- Experience supporting desktop, laptops, mobile carts, hand held devices, and printers
- Possess knowledge and understanding of MS Office Windows platforms and general knowledge of network connectivity and protocols
- Two years work experience in support and repairing personal computers and related hardware and software
- Associates Degree or specialized courses equivalent to two years of college in computer science, data processing, information systems, or related field
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
