Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic RN who excels in collaboration, embraces adaptability, and brings a strong sense of professionalism to every situation. The Quality Coordinator (RN) leads infection control, risk management, and safety initiatives, driving the development and implementation of protocols to enhance patient and staff safety. This role involves monitoring healthcare-associated infections, identifying potential risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Strong communication and analytical skills are key to driving quality outcomes and making a meaningful impact across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead quality management and improvement projects, analyzing data, monitoring outcomes, and implementing strategies to enhance patient care.
- Provide ongoing education and training to staff on infection control, safety protocols, and quality improvement practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and patient safety.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks to patient safety and coordinate risk management initiatives.
Qualifications
- Required:
- Current Minnesota RN license.
- Minimum 5 years RN experience.
- Preferred:
- BSN in nursing preferred.
- Previous experience in infection control and/or risk management.
- 3 years of experience coordinating projects that include data abstraction and analysis.
- Epic/Excellian, Core measures, CMS Reporting, Minnesota Hospital Association, Minnesota Community Measurement and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
Key Skills:
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, multi-disciplinary teams and leadership
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to improve quality outcomes and patient safety.
The pay range for this role is $80,726 to $96,387.
