A Day in the Life of a Payroll Coordinator
The Payroll Coordinator is pivotal in managing and executing all payroll functions and system updates to ensure accurate compensation across the facility. This role involves rigorous monitoring and updating of employee data, adherence to regulatory payroll requirements, and implementation of relevant system upgrades to enhance efficiency. Regular interactions with Department Managers and Supervisors are crucial for addressing and resolving payroll issues and supporting departmental needs. The Coordinator also plays a key role in audits, financial reporting, and compliance, ensuring all payroll-related reporting is precise and timely. Work environments are dynamic, requiring high adaptability, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing payroll and HR systems.

Qualifications
Education and Experience Required
- Associate's degree and three years of payroll/accounting experience -OR- combination of equivalent higher education degree and experience may also be considered
- Experience using Microsoft office products
- Experience in benefits administration
- Certified payroll professional
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Actual pay rate offered depends on many factors including each individual employee's experience level, preferred education/certifications, along with market conditions.
