A Day in the Life of a NP-Sleep Medicine / Family Medicine

This role supports both Sleep Medicine and Family Medicine by providing follow-up care, diagnostics, and patient education. Working closely with a Sleep Medicine physician, the APP manages treatment plans involving CPAP therapy, medications, and lifestyle counseling. Collaboration is key, as this position is part of a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals. The work includes both routine and complex patient cases, requiring adaptability and strong clinical judgment. While primarily outpatient-based, the pace can vary and will involve rotating between multiple clinic locations.

As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, you are a trusted healthcare professional, delivering high-quality care in both primary and specialty settings. Whether diagnosing conditions, managing treatment plans, providing preventative care, or guiding patients through complex medical concerns, APPs play a vital role in ensuring accessible, patient-centered healthcare. Working both independently and in collaboration with physicians and care teams, you bring expertise, critical thinking, and compassionate communication to every patient interaction. Qualifications

Education and Experience Required NP
  • Current DEA certificate and Minnesota Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working independently with patients in family practice, acute care or similar specialty.
PA
  • Current DEA certificate and national certification from the National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants.
  • State PA license required.
  • Bachelor's degree and successful completion of an accredited physician assistant program required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working independently with patients in family practice, acute care or similar specialty.
Preferred
  • Experience with program growth

 

Compensation and Benefits

The pay range listed above is the estimated starting pay range for this role. Please keep in mind that the actual pay rate offered could be higher for some candidates depending on many factors including each individual provider's experience level and/or preferred education or certifications.
