Staff Pharmacist - Full Time
West Tennessee Healthcare - Jackson Madison County General Hospital

As a full time, non exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist at West Tennessee Specialty Pharmacy you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Pharmacy Manager in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule: This position is scheduled to work a 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm.
Starting Pay: $65.00 to $68.00 an hour, based on experience
About the Facility: Jackson - Madison County General Hospital is a 642 bed non-profit tertiary care center servicing 17 counties in West Tennessee. The facility has 6 main treatment centers: Heart and Vascular Center, Cancer Center, Neuroscience and Spine Center as well as Emergency Services. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC
About the Pharmacy: The Specialty Pharmacy utilizes PioneerRx. Pharmacy is open 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday,
Required Qualifications:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Tennessee
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital or Retail setting
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine
