Staff Pharmacist
Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital

As a full-time, exemptCPS Solutions, LLC Staff Pharmacist,you will fill orders with accuracy; check technician-prepared products before release; maintain the security of pharmacy and controlled substances; enter orders and patient information with accuracy; aid in the training of new staff; update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy; and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.
Schedule: This position will work 32 hours per week with rotating weekends and holidays main operating hours at Northwest (Indianapolis) and South (Greenwood) locations.
About the Facility: This position will primarily be located at Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital main campus, also known as OrthoIndy, located at Northwest Indianapolis is a 37-bed acute care hospital that specializes in musculoskeletal therapy located in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position may also be required to work at the South location, also known as OrthoIndy South, a 15-bed acute care hospital that specializes in musculoskeletal therapy located in Greenwood, IN.OrthoIndy is Indiana's first specialty hospital with a focus on orthopedics. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS.
About the Pharmacy: The main pharmacy at NW/Main Campus Indy location is open Monday from 6:00am-8:00pm, Tuesday through Thursday from 6:00am-9:00pm and Friday from 6:00am-7:00pm. Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am-12:00pm.
Requirements:
- Pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred
- Current Pharmacist license in good standing in Indiana
- Completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency program preferred
- Experience as a Pharmacist in a Hospital setting strongly preferred
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Effective communications skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements: (may be required)
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- COVID Vaccine
