Pharmacy Technician - Full Time

As a full time, nonexempt CPS Solutions, LLC Pharmacy Technician at Neosho Memorial Regional Medical Center, you will assist in various pharmacy activities under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Your responsibilities will include preparing, delivering, and restocking medications; procuring drugs; billing; and medication history processes. You will carry out your job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
Schedule: This position is currently scheduled to work 4 days per week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm, and every other weekend 7:30am-12:00noon and is subject to change. When working the weekend you will have either Thursday or Friday off during the week.
Starting Pay: $15-$20/hour based on recent experience.

CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The pharmacy is staffed by three pharmacists which includes the Director of Pharmacy as well as two Pharmacy Technicians. Automation includes Pyxis ES, and utilizes Cerner for electronic medical records. The pharmacy is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am-5:00pm, and 7:30am-12:00noon Saturdays and Sundays. Remote entry is performed by the pharmacist after hours.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Kansas Pharmacy Technician License; willing to train a new Pharmacy Technician
- National certification preferred (PTCB or CPhT)
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy preferred
- Proficient computer skills including experience using Microsoft Office
- Effective communication skills; verbal and written
Hospital Requirements (may be required):
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Hepatitis B3 Series or declination
- (Flu) Influenza-required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
- Covid Vaccine - Full
