Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant) for Neuro-Intensive Care Unit (NeuroICU) full-time position.
Experienced candidate preference: Critical Care, Neurosurgery, In-patient Neurology, Trauma, Surgery, and/or Emergency Medicine to meet the needs of this complex patient cohort.
The Advanced Practice Provider will manage neuro-critical care patients in a 16-bed unit augmenting a team of APPs, Neurointensivists, along with rotational Residents and Fellows in Neurology and Neurosurgery.
The Advanced Practice Provider will provide rotating coverage on days, evenings, and weekends. 3-12 hours shifts weekly. APPs manage their schedule.
The provider should be comfortable with reviewing imaging.
Training/onboarding will be provided to ensure optimal patient care.
Scheduled Days / Hours: Full Time; License (or Certification): AHA ACLS is required; License (or Certification): PA or APN board certified is required; License (or Certification): NJ-PA or NJ RN/APN is required.
