As an Entry Level EAS Digital Technology Developer (formerly known as EAS Digital Technology Analyst), you will join Cognizant's Enterprise Applications Services (EAS), comprised of 9 practices with 500+ customers worldwide, 19,000 associates globally, and 25+ alliances with major vendors in the enterprise application space.

Your journey starts in our onboarding experiences designed for you to build technical and professional skills through virtual and classroom training sessions with fellow technology professionals.  We also provide you career counseling and mentoring where you will connect with our leaders and build your network. 

New hires will be deployed to client engagement projects in major cities in the U.S. where you will work alongside other experienced Cognizant associates delivering technology solutions.  Your first assignment could involve any combination of the following – application development, maintenance, testing, business requirements gathering and analysis or project management support. 

Throughout your first two years at Cognizant, we will closely monitor your progress and offer coaching, training and support to help you achieve your long-term career goals at Cognizant.  This program has very high visibility with our Executive team and provides tremendous opportunity for leadership development.  We work with the best of the best!

SAP Solutions Practice:

The SAP Solutions Practice provides advisory, design, development, implementation, and maintenance services across all SAP products. This practice helps businesses improve operational efficiency, make better business decisions, and enhance collaboration to meet the expectations and demands of the global economy across all industries.  Our Associates excels in deploying the right SAP solutions to enable better profitable operations, continuous adaptation, and sustained growth for companies of all sizes.

Integrated Process Management (IPM) Practice:

IPM offers Business Process Integration, B2B and Digital Process Automation solutions.  The practice maintains world-class capabilities and strategic partnerships with industry leading integration platforms (e.g. IBM, Oracle, Microsoft, Software-AG, TIBCO, Apigee, Appian, etc.)  Business processes accomplish a specific organizational goal. Business integration is the synchronization of a company's internal operations with their own divisions and trading partners by connecting disparate systems in real-time.  IPM has customers across the globe in multiple industry sectors.  We train our new hires before we deploy them on customer projects.  Training location will likely be in College Station, TX or virtual, and you will be expected to relocate to the client location for project execution.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.  Our preferred majors are Computer Science, IT, or Business Information Systems with minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0; or minimum GPA of 3.25 in their major
  • Cognizant will not sponsor H-1B or other U.S. work authorization, or lawful permanent residence (otherwise known as a “Green Card”) for this role
  • Applicants must be willing to relocate to one of the major geographic areas where we have significant customer accounts and/or travel may be required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Self-motivated individuals with strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills with the passion and appetite to learn newer technologies
  • Hands on demonstrable development experience in Python, JAVA, .Net (C#), Hadoop, C++ or equivalent programming languages
  • Actively participate in developing complex applications involving cutting edge technology and frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams
