Description

Join the Fleet and Facilities branch as a Training and People Support Clerk! Reporting to the Supervisor of Learning Solutions and Program Integration, you will coordinate and support specific OH&S, Enviso, Corporate and technical training to ensure compliance with established internal and legislated requirements

Along with providing general administration support to the Workforce Development team, you will utilize the Corporate Learning Management System (LMS) to record training data and manage the physical records related to training for the Fleet & Facility Services branch. In this role you will act as a conduit to help support people leaders within the branch including booking interviews, liaising with recruitment and completing position change workbooks

What will you do?

  • Collaborate with Fleet Safety, OH&S, and Enviso to plan, support, and execute training sessions
  • Liaise with the branch sections to audit existing training records; identify and follow up on missing or incomplete records
  • Ensure training records are appropriately entered into the LMS and physically stored in adherence to FOIP requirements
  • Monitor training expiry reports and proactively send out reminders; communicate with employees and/or leadership staff to support compliance
  • Record, maintain and monitor data in various formats including Google calendars and the Corporate LMS
  • Process registrations and/or cancellations with external vendors, follow up on training records
  • Support departmental training sessions including: room and equipment set-up/clean up, set up of preparation of course material, attendance sheets, and evaluation forms
  • Process payments using SAP and tracking all relevant expenditures for the Workforce Development area
  • Maintain and update training catalog and matrix
  • Complete position change workbooks to ensure that the information associated with the position is accurate and up-to-date
  • Perform other related duties as required
