What will you do?
- Assist in the initial preparation of the study, which may involve participating in client meetings and communicating with members of the general public to obtain consent for monitoring
- Complete on-site field level hazards assessment and conduct work in a safety-conscious manner
- Set up and calibrate equipment for the monitoring of ground vibrations and environmental noise
- Manage weekly water sampling for the snow storage facility's meltwater quality compliance program
- Manage annual or biannual sampling of water and sediment sampling for the sump sampling programs
- Collect and download data by utilizing on-line data service portals
- Tabulate data using Google Sheets, which may involve the creation or maintenance of complex formulas
- Determine relevant regulatory guidelines and criteria for comparing data
- Verify and analyze data, including identifying anomalies and guideline exceedances
- Stay up-to-date with applicable guidelines and standards and technology
- Maintain professional designations and/or accreditations and fulfill required professional development hours by attending webinars and/or courses as well as through self-directed study
- Assist in drafting and coordinating proposals for projects
- Other duties as assigned
