GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the close supervision of a supervisory employee, performs manual work in the performance of unskilled and limited semiskilled tasks of a physically demanding nature. Work involves the operation of various light automotive and mechanical equipment, but only during a minor portion of the time. Performs other work as requested. Note: Some employees within this classification are hired on a part-time basis and paid at an hourly rate.
