GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Development and Services, performs works with appreciable latitude for independent action and exercises professional judgment in decision-making and managing functions associated with the education and advocacy services program. Serves as the executive officer for both the Head Start Program and Family Advocacy Services (Social Services) in the administration of educating, instructing, teaching and/or disseminating information that imparts knowledge or skills. Assists in locating and coordinating program services as well as provide assistance with housing, utilities, food, and clothing for children. Fosters a working partnership with Head Start and Family Advocacy Services that offers support to children and families. Perform other duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in social work, public or business administration, early childhood education, or a related field, and five years of experience in education, public administration, human services, or management, including two years of supervisory experience.
