TREASURY MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATE II   WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY? This position is responsible for the development and direct sale of treasury management products and services to new clients and the expansion of existing treasury management customer relationships. The incumbent will support business development activities of CNB line units and develop sales strategies to aggressively increase the sale and use of treasury management products and services for the designated customer and prospect base. Conduct customer/prospect needs analysis and develop proposed service solutions/sales presentations to assist businesses and organizations to make efficient use of cash. Coordinate sales efforts with relationship officers and team members in order to acquire new business and strengthen existing client relationships. Maintain current knowledge of all treasury management products and services offered.

 

The Treasury Management Associate is the trusted advisor for CNB's treasury management clients, partnering with Senior TMSOs to expand solution adoption and deepen client relationships. This role identifies growth opportunities within the portfolio, recommends tailored treasury services, and coordinates support to ensure exceptional client experiences. By balancing relationship management with proactive sales support, the TMA drives client loyalty and long-term business growth.

 

 

WHAT WILL YOU DO?  

Client Portfolio Management & Activation

  • Serve as the dedicated support resource for assigned portfolio of existing clients
  • Coordinate cash management, foreign exchange, and commercial card digital solution onboarding across operations, implementations, and technical consulting teams
  • Partner with Senior TMSOs to drive client activation and adoption while maintaining exceptional client experience

Sales Support & Growth

  • Proactively recommend appropriate treasury services to existing clients to increase share of wallet
  • Assess client needs and identify solutions designed to reduce costs and optimize cash flow operations
  • Gather client insights through discovery to identify broader solution opportunities
  • Assist Senior TMSOs with onsite sales calls and client presentations as schedule permits

Client Support & Problem Resolution

  • Answer product and implementation questions for internal and external clients
  • Coordinate technical support regarding treasury management product usage and functionality
  • Act as escalation point for treasury management service issues
  • Provide focused financial advice aligned with clients' business goals

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Senior TMSOs and relationship managers to develop coordinated client contact strategies
  • Educate clients on industry trends and emerging issues impacting their business
  • Maintain positive relationships across bank units to support business development efforts
  • Own and assist with special projects and task forces as assigned
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED? Required Qualifications*
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 4 years of cash management sales experience in a financial services environment required.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in managing/supporting medium to large account relationships required
  Additional Qualifications
  • Graduation from a four-year college or university with concentration in a discipline directly related to the duties of the position.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and principles to effectively market treasury management services.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Ability to gather, arranges, compile, interpret, analyze, summarize and evaluate information and data to identify sales opportunities and formulate conclusions and recommended actions.
  • Ability to set priorities, objectives and goals.
  • Solution-Oriented Mindset: Proactively identifies client challenges and develops creative, tailored treasury solutions that drive measurable business impact
  • Technology Enablement: Leverages digital platforms and emerging treasury technologies to enhance client capabilities and streamline operations

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? Compensation Starting base salary: $87,027 - $138,965 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. This job is eligible for bonus and/or commissions.
