The Opportunity
Developing, designing and implementing classroom and technology-based training programs to meet organizational/individual needs and requirements. Ensuring the proper preparation, implementation and management of instructional development projects. Contributing to the selection, development and updating of courseware content for web-based or any other media delivery. Evaluating the effectiveness of audiovisual materials to ensure objectives are being accomplished.
Under minimal supervision, deliver a wide range of content to meet client's learning and development objectives through application of specialized skills. Identifies and implements design strategy and is responsible for the process of designing and managing content, analyzing user requirements and implementing content strategies for clients. Extensive contact with internal customers and subject matter experts is required.
The Responsibilities
- Work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues, where the analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
- Works on assignments of moderate scope, impact and/or importance.
- Makes recommendations on new processes, tools and services that can impact multiple projects and other work areas.
- Makes recommendations on moderately complex issues regarding technical approach for project components.
- Impact begins to influence department strategy.
- With limited guidance, works on moderately complex assignments/projects.
- Regularly exercises independent judgement on matters of significance within defined procedures to determine appropriate actions/approaches.
- Executes approach by following strategies and processes to accomplish objectives.
- Normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments.
- Often determines methods/approach to work/projects and establishes own work priorities and timelines.
- Collaborates with others on short to medium-term projects within own area of specialization.

The Qualifications
- 3-6 Years Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Communications, or related field and financial services/banking experience. ~or~ • - An equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
- Instructional Design certificate preferred.
- Experience in learning industry design/multi-media tools and blended learning experience platforms.
- Experience in adult learning theory approaches and methods.
- Stakeholder engagement; relationship management with key stakeholders, such as bank leadership and subject-matter-experts.
- Experience creating corporate content such learning request such as e-learnings, QRG, videos, presentations, etc.
- Experience working with tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, TechSmith Adobe Suite Premiere
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Tools to include SharePoint
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction ***
Knowledge of:
- Applied knowledge of instructional design methodologies.
- Designing for both print and online mediums.
- MS Office suite and SharePoint as well as computer and web literacy across devices • Strong proficiency of design principles and tools
- Strong knowledge and capabilities of the Adobe Creative Suite tools, Articulate 360: Storyline and Rise, Camtasia, and ability to discern the appropriateness of different design tools available to instructional designers.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $36.91/hour - $39.57/hour
