Description
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Cardiac Critical Care Medicine with a focus on Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Medicine. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. ABP certification or board eligibility, and Pennsylvania licensure and completion of fellowship training in pediatric critical care medicine and/or pediatric cardiology is required, with advanced cardiac intensive care training if not dual board certified eligible.
Teaching responsibilities may include teaching both in our formal didactic lecture program as well as in the informal teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows rotating through the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
Clinical responsibilities may include direct patient care and medical direction in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
Primary practice is located at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Opportunities are available in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care. Experience in pediatric cardiac critical care medicine and teaching of residents and fellows required
