As a School Operations System Administrator, you will be responsible for supporting the organization's operational systems and enrollment reporting to maintain configurations, data flow, and data quality to meet business needs. They will facilitate between the vendor and the process owners to ensure the systems meet the organization's requirements. The SOSA will be the liaison for the integration, launch, and implementation and connectivity of systems that capture enrollment information from applications to state reporting to meet operational and compliance needs.

How You Will Impact Education

  • Coordinate with all shareholders in supporting the school operational systems
  • Partner with the organization's leadership to gather requirements to the business needs and complete the systems configurations within the deadline provided
  • Facilitate the flow of information between student information and enrollment systems and services
  • Coordinate training for national and state staff for all assigned systems
  • Manage student system service desk tickets for all shareholders for the assigned systems and escalates tickets to the correct vendor and/or escalation team as needed
  • Train and support staff on change management, service desk, and other procedures as needed
  • Oversee change and release management processes for enrollment systems
  • Act as a liaison between vendors and customers
  • Work with staff and various department team members on projects, data requests, data analysis, reporting, and custom reports as needed
  • Partner with end users and department managers to ensure data is available, reliable, consistent, accessible, and secure
  • Provide insight into data integrity and cleanliness for enrollment systems
  • Facilitate continuous improvement cycle between the Marketing and Enrollment and ITSS departments to meet the needs of the organization for enrollment reporting

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Must have prior experience with SchoolMint or other enrollment systems.
  • Active and attentive listener
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Ability to work independently with general guidance on outcomes and objectives
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Organized and able to successfully multitask
  • Demonstrates excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required
  • Effective documentation and reporting skills

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in education, computer science or related area or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing an enrollment system and enrollment reporting
  • Experience in reporting data submissions for State for various departments
  • Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage daily activities and short/long-term projects under pressure with accuracy and responsiveness
  • Proficient in verbal and written English and strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible work schedule, as needed to solve service issues
  • Ability to work under limited supervision following standardized practices and/or methods
  • May perform other duties assigned.
