As a Project Manager, you will support the team by coordinating, internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects or tasks. The Project Manager will ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget. The PM will measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and/or techniques.

How You Will Impact Education

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless execution of projects or tasks
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget
  • Facilitate projects through regular reporting and follow-up of task status
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and/or techniques
  • Ensure project goals are met, Address gaps with stakeholders for follow-up procedures
  • Facilitate continuous improvement cycle by post-project review and incorporation of relevant feedback for future projects
  • Oversee change and release management processes

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrates strong organizational skills, able to handle multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously
  • Ability to work with variety of internal and external stakeholders to accomplish goals
  • Ability to work independently with general guidance on outcomes and objectives
  • Ability to analyze project goals to manage conflicts in priority, stakeholder requirements, and resources needed
  • Active and attentive listener
  • Ability to communicate in a timely and professional manner
  • Effective documentation and reporting skills
  • Ability to develop and/or evaluate business cases for proposed projects
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
  • Strong customer service orientation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Project Management (PMP) certification preferred
  • 3-4 years of experience in providing technology and systems support in a K12 environment
  • Experience leading systems and technology deployments/upgrades projects
  • May require travel both inside and outside of state
  • May require occasional weekend or evening travel
  • May perform other duties assigned.
