Summary
The Senior Database Marketing Analyst will use data to highlight database / consumer trends, understand offer performance and reinvestment strategies, and deliver clear, actionable recommendations to improve profitability and enhance guest experience at Cache Creek Casino Resort. This role requires advanced analytical skills, excellent communication, and a high degree of curiosity.
The Senior Database Marketing Analyst will identify initiatives to increase customer loyalty and improve database performance, partner with marketers to craft campaigns and promotions, and create reporting to measure success. This role will build credibility with marketers across different functional areas and contribute to the resort's culture of data-driven decision-making.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Act as a trusted business advisor to marketing leaders, ensuring data insights directly influence decision-making.
Present insights and recommendations with clarity, confidence, and an emphasis on measurable business impact.
Supplement data with stakeholder / customer feedback to provide holistic view of performance.
Continuously monitor performance across database marketing, VIP, entertainment, and advertising to spot emerging trends, risks, and opportunities.
Recommend and help implement initiatives that increase revenue, improve efficiency, or enhance guest / employee experience.
Deliver real-time insights and dashboards around database performance, customer reinvestment, loyalty marketing, and other key areas of marketing operations.
Educate stakeholders on data & analytics capabilities, enabling more effective decision-making.Partner with IT to identify opportunities to improve data storage / access processes.
Ensure consistency in metrics and data definitions across the resort.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position does not have direct reports. This team member is responsible for the overall marketing analytics function for the property in coordination with the Director of Database Marketing.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Marketing, Statistics, or a related field, with a minimum of 4 years of experience in marketing analytics, business intelligence, or customer loyalty. Demonstrate the ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, persuasive manner, and have strong statistical modeling skills preferably in SQL, Python, and R—as well as proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are essential. A proven track record of quantifying the financial impact of marketing and reinvestment decisions is required, and experience in and passion for gaming and hospitality is strongly preferred.
Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization. Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, persuasive manner.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills
Strong statistical modeling skills (SQL, Python, R preferred) and BI tool proficiency (Tableau, Power BI). Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
