Certification Details
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA only)
• BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA only and as required)
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA only as required)
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as required)
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (as required)
• State License Verification (Primary Source Verification)
• Tech Cert Verification - National (Allied Licensure Report)
• HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement (Required)
• NIH Stroke Certification (required onsite within 2 weeks if not before start)

Job Details
• Radiology / X-Ray Tech
• 12 hour days, Fri-Sun
• 1 Year Minimum experience required
• First-timers not recommended unless very familiar with a busy Department and Trauma Center
• No Call Requirement
• No Floating Required
• 50 Mile Radius Rule
• Orientation every week on Monday - requires at least three weeks for compliance
• Daily Caseload per tech varies based on Trauma Day and/or Surgery
• Techs can expect between 90 and 120 studies between 3p-12a
• 24-35 studies per shift anticipated

Schedule Information
• 12 hour days
• Shifts from Friday to Sunday

Unit Specific Information
• This position is for a Tech to work independently in Surgery with C-Arms, Portables
• Tech will handle TRAUMA cases with a very busy Emergency Room
• Do not judge by number of beds, the expertise required is high
• Pediatric Hospital within the Hospital
• Surgery is not limited to day shift
• Burn unit and a very busy ICU within the hospital

Additional Details
• Government issued photo ID required
• Residency declaration form required if working on a compact license
• Orientation and Annual Education review and attestation required
• Confidentiality Agreement must be completed
• Facility will assign modules to HealthStream accounts
