Salary Range: 85k-100k
Job Summary:
The OTC Key Controls Analyst assists the organization with SOX Compliance in planning, coordinating, and supporting the execution all aspects of the SOX compliance program and is additionally responsible for supporting the Billing Manager with billing quality control on a monthly basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support management in performing process walkthroughs to identify, validate, and document significant classes of transactions, financial reporting risks, and key/non-key SOX controls
- Support management in executing SOX control testing procedures and coordinating deliverables with the Dallas based SOX team (and KPMG as required)
- Completion of monthly billing quality control & completeness activities
- Review key processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Help guide management in developing action plans to remediate control deficiencies
- Ad hoc projects as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of SOX compliance, COSO framework, US GAAP, and PCAOB standards
- 2+ years of recent SOX compliance / key processes experience in Big 4 accounting firm, large national accounting firm, or public companies
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build productive relationships with all levels of BGS USA management
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio)
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA designation (or in course of pursuing same)
- Experience with financial statements audit
- Experience with audit analytic software (e.g., ACL, IDEA)
- Experience with IT general controls and IT system implementations
- Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
