As a Lead Product Developer, your job duties include:
- Under guidance from management and product management, work on software development and architecture definition work on the Netreo Infrastructure Management platform
- Assist engineering management with targeted technology investigations and proof-of-concept experiments
- Work on software development services to improve and maintain Path Insight and related technologies
- Determining technical goals and creating implementation plans
- Providing expert advice and mentorship to other engineers
- Assist engineering management with targeted technology investigations and proof-of-concept experiments
To ensure you're set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- 7+ years experience in product development using Python, Go-lang, or other languages.
- Familiarity with both AWS and Oracle Cloud services, including compute, storage, networking, and security configurations.
- Experience writing efficient scripts for automation, deployment, and management of cloud resources in both AWS and Oracle Cloud.
- Proficient in debugging and optimizing cloud-based applications, ensuring high availability, and improving performance

The annual base salary range represents the low and high end of the BMC salary range for this position. Actual salaries depend on a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training, licensure, and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
The range listed is just one component of BMC's employee compensation package. Other rewards may include a variable plan and country specific benefits.
At BMC, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at /near the top of the range. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $108,525 - $180,875
